Current Nails: Manicurist of Seville by OPI

Hello there!

You already know what time it is, it's nail time! Yes, I did my nails over because they started chipping really early and I've been itching to do this color, so I caved. I am still working on my fall/winter lip faves, but I just started my new job (look forward to reviews of products from there very soon) and getting over being sick, so I haven't had time to sit and take all the pictures of the tube and the swatch and so on and so forth, but I will be doing it very soon! However, I didn't want to go on another hiatus, so I just did what I do best, a nail post! So, let's get into it!

So this is a color I mentioned in my Fall Nail Faves post. The color is called Manicurist of Seville by OPI. It is the perfect cranberry color for this time of year. It's also not too dark of a cranberry, it's like the perfect shade so you can tell that it is cranberry. I love this color, and obviously it is great polish because it is OPI. Check out my pictures below!

I hope you guys enjoyed the post! Definitely check out this color if you like it, you won't be disappointed! Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for more exciting posts coming soon! Talk to you in my next post!

Current Nails: Purple Pleaser

Hey guys & happy Sunday!

I am back! It's been a crazy few weeks between school and looking for a job, which I found just in time for the holidays btw, being sick, and the stresses of senior year and deciding to pursue a career that is not what I've studied my collegiate career, the free time I did have I really wasn't trying to look at a computer, haha. My apologies!! However, I'm back with my favorite current nails post to share what color I just did my nails! I've barely been doing my nails, meaning they've been looking so busted. I also have a fall/winter lip favorites post coming soon so stay tuned!

Anyways, I did a color that I shared in my Fall Nail Faves post. It is by E.L.F. and is called Purple Pleaser. It's one of my favorites, obviously and very cheap! Check out my pictures below!

I hope y'all enjoyed the post! Thanks for reading and stay tuned!

Current Nails: Gray Suede by Revlon

Hello there & happy Tuesday!

As you all know I can't seem to keep my nails the same color for a long time, so my nails are already a new color. This color is rather subtle, but I love it. It's called Gray Suede by Revlon. It's a nude color, and we all know I love nude beauty products, so you know I love it. Revlon polish is about $5-6 in drugstores. Sometimes it can even be around $8 depending on where you get it from. Anyway, hope you like the color, let me know what you think in the comments!

I hope you enjoyed the post! If you missed it, check out my last nail post here! Until next time!

Current Nails: Wine by Love & Beauty by Forever 21

Hey everyone, happy hump day! I hope y'all are having a great day! I am back as promised with a good ole nail post! My favorites to do if you haven't noticed. My nails have been looking so busted because I've been so busy these last couple of weeks that they've been chipped (ick) most of the time! I did my nails before class this morning while I was studying for an exam, multitasking at it's finest, and they came out nice, surprisingly. I did them a color I featured in my Fall Nail Faves post. It's called Wine by Love & Beauty by Forever 21. I am not sure if they make this particular color anymore but I am sure they make something like it. This polish is about two years old now and it still works great! This is one of my favorite nail colors to rock during the fall and winter. I know it looks a lot like We'll Always Have Paris by OPI, but in person you can see the difference, maybe not in pictures. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the post and check out pictures of the color below!

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed the post! Stay tuned for some very cool posts coming soon! Until next time folks.

Fall Nail Faves!

Happy Thursday everyone!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a great start to their week! School is kicking my butt, but I finally have a second to chill, even though that's kind of a lie because I have so much other things I could be doing, but maintaining this blog is indeed a priority, so here I am! I kind of failed this past week with my two posts a week, but I'm trying, bear with me guys!

I'm back with a fall nail favorites post because I love fall and I love nail polish so of course I had to do this post! So let me stop yapping, and get into it!

I picked 10 colors, mostly all that I don't wear until the fall season, and these are my favorites out of all that I wear.

Manicurist of Seville by OPI: $9 at drugstores. The perrrrrfect cranberry color!

Purple Pleaser by ELF: This one came in a set which was about $4 at Target if I remember correctly. I love this color and I am currently wearing it! Stay tuned for a post on it very soon!

Love & Beauty by Forever 21: If I knew the color I would gladly share, but it rubbed off and I unfortunately don't remember it. I've had it for years and it is still good! Perfect dark nude color. It was $2.80 at Forever 21.

Not a Gold Bigger by Nicole by OPI: My favorite gold ever! This came in a set with a dark purple color that I got as a gift one year. This brand typically runs about $7 or $8.

Midnight in Moscow by OPI: This is like a deep shimmery purple which is perfect for fall. One of my favorite nail colors to this day.

Galaxy Girl by Orly: Another shimmery purple, although this one is more iridescent. I found this at TJ Maxx last year for about $4, although Orly runs for about $9 or $10. Love this color.

Suzi Skies in the Pyrenees by OPI: This is a deep, deep gray color, kind of charcoal-y. I love how smoky it is. Great for the season.

Wine by Love & Beauty by Forever 21: I have had this color for years, and have literally worn it for three weeks straight before. Favorite deep purple ever. I am going to be so sad when I run out because I don't think Forever 21 makes this particular color anymore (although they have one like it).

Black on Black by Sinful Colors: What is fall without a black nail polish? Black is one of my favorite colors to do my nails this time of year. Sinful Colors has great polish and can be found for $2 or $3 a bottle at drugstores.

I hope you all enjoyed the post and enjoyed seeing my favorite nail colors of the season! I will be back very soon with a post, and will not go on a hiatus for that long again! Thank you so much for reading, and stay tuned for more exciting posts! Until next time, everyone!

Current Nails: We'll Always Have Paris by OPI

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I am SO sorry I haven't posted in a week! School is getting crazy, and this weekend I was going to post, but I went home for the weekend to rejuvenate, so I didn't get a chance to. Since school is getting so crazy, and my internship is picking back up, I'm going to attempt to post a minimum of twice a week. Some weeks it may only be once, but I really am going to try to keep it at twice. I have some exciting fall posts coming up, so be on the lookout for that! I also am planning on starting up a new blog soon focusing on entertainment, lifestyle, relationships and fashion, so I'll probably post more about that when that happens. It probably will not be until closer to the end of this year/ very early next year. Just another thing I have up my sleeve :) I am definitely going to keep this blog up and running though because I love this blog, and I want to sincerely thank those of you who read it, and keep up with me. I appreciate it! <3

Okay, moving on, I am back first with a nail post! Yay! This color is called We'll Always Have Paris by OPI, and fun fact, it's not even mine! It's my BFF/roomie's and I have been eyeballing it for a while, so she let me use it. I loveeee it, and it has made the list of nail colors that I want to buy. I wanted something dark for the start of fall, and I love deep purple nails. I have a color very similar to this, but it is old, and probably too clunky for wear. (I've also probably overdone it with the nail polish remover trick for clunky polish) Anywho, this is a great polish to kick off the season with, and I love dark nails. Probably more than bright colors. Dark nails are so trendy, and you can never go wrong. (Only for a job interview or something along those lines!) OPI is typically about $9 a bottle, but we all know how amazing OPI polish is. It took me about two coats to get the color of the bottle. Enough of me talking, check out my pictures below!

Thank you so much for reading! Stay tuned for exciting posts coming very soon!

New Cheap Buys!

Hey!!

So, I've been running around like crazy this last week, and school is already picking up. I'm still getting adjusted to classes and just trying to get in a routine, so I apologize, I'm not neglecting my blog! Just getting adjusted, that's all. Anyway, back to the important stuff! So the other day I ran to Target, mainly to peruse the cosmetic section. I wound up grabbing a Elf blush and bronzer powder compact, and a Elf bronzing brush. I also grabbed a new nail color from Maybelline Color Show.

The contouring blush and bronzing powder was $3.00, the bronzing brush was $1.00, and the Maybelline polish was $3.34.

I have kind of been on the hunt for a blush because I don't have any blush, just bronzer. I decided to start off with a cheaper blush to see how I like it before I invest in a more expensive one. I tried it out, and I do like it. It is kind of light, so I think I'll look for a darker one, but until then, I'll just blend this one really well. It is kind of hard to see, but I still like it. The bronzer looks very pretty though. When I wear both of these out, I will definitely post the look. I also think the packaging is very cute and sleek. I just love Elf products.

Since I got new blush and bronzer, I felt it appropriate to get a new bronzing brush. I have an eyeshadow brush from Elf that I really like. I only have one blush/bronzing brush, but I needed another one and it was only a dollar. I'm telling you, you can't beat Elf! Just a quick note, the black Elf brushes are a few dollars more than the white brushes. If the white brushes are awesome, I'm sure the black brushes are great too.

You know I couldn't not pick up a nail color! I have been looking for a mauve color to bring in the fall. This is called Mauve in Manhattan by Maybelline Color Show. Well, I'm going to do my nails this color next time I do them, so I suppose I'm a little early. However, I liked the color I got from this line a little while ago, so I wanted another color. This line is the Maybelline Color Show, and they have quality, long lasting polish for a cheap price! When I do my nails this color, I'll be sure to post. You can check out my older post that I did about another color from this line here.

I hope you enjoyed the post! Stay tuned for some exciting posts coming up verrrrry soon! :)

Thanks for reading! Until next time!

Current Nails: Something Blue by Julep

Hey guys!

As promised, I'm back with one of the Julep nail colors I posted about in my last post that I received in my welcome box. I absolutely love this color. It's so pretty, and it makes a statement on my nails even though it is a light blue. It is called Something Blue, and it is by Julep. Julep cannot be found in stores, only online on their website. I posted the link for my last post which I go into much more detail about Julep and their products. Check out my pictures of the color below!

This is seriously great nail polish. I'm in love.

Until next time!

Julep Maven Welcome Box!

Hey guys!

About a week ago, I was just browsing Facebook, and I came across this offer for a free Julep welcome box. It said the box would come with different types of beauty products, so of course, me being me, I ordered one. I have heard of Julep before, and was curious to how there products really worked. Like I said, I wound up signing up for a free welcome box of beauty goodies with a promo code. My total wound up being $2.99 for shipping, the box was completely free! However, I did not do my research well enough and did not realize that by signing up, I was agreeing to $40 boxes every month. Though you get to customize your boxes every month, and you get a high amount worth of products for $40, I am not interested in a $40 charge every month at the moment. It sounds very ideal for me, but that is something that has to wait. I called and cancelled, but I still get to keep my box! I got some great stuff in it, all for nails, so you know I'm very pleased. (As a matter of fact, I will be doing my nails with one of my new colors as soon as I'm done with this!) Anyway, let me show you what I got!

It came with three nail colors, a top coat, and a pedicure creme.

I love how sleek the top coat packaging is.

I needed a new purple so this came right on time! Very thrilled to see this in the box.

This color immediately struck my interest as soon as I opened the box. It's SO pretty!! I also think it is the perfect name for the color. Reminds me of Tiffany Blue. (I'm doing my nails with this as soon as I'm done with this.)

This color is gorgeous. I have been searching for the perfect nail color to do for my birthday nails, (my birthday is next week!) and I was imagining something sassy, glittery, something that said 21, as cliche as that sounds. However, I think this is the perfect color for the occasion! I plan on taking this to the nail salon next week when I go in to get my birthday mani & pedi, so be on the lookout for that post!

This is the pedicure creme. I always like to have some lotion for when I do my own pedicures so this will be very useful for me also!

I am very happy with the goodies in the box, and I will be using the nail colors immediately! I know I just did my nails, but I can't wait to use the baby blue color, so I will be doing my nails tonight! I really like the box, but right now as a broke college student trying to save summer job money for spring break, necessities, homecoming events, and pocket change, I will not be paying $40 for a beauty box, when I can get way more products for $40 worth. Maybe one day I will pick back up the subscription, but for now, I will enjoy my free box!! Hope you enjoyed the post! If you liked what you saw, I linked the page for the Julep website at the beginning of the post!

Until next time,
